Woodchuck® Watermelon Cocktail Cubes
July 1, 2015
Sure, you could pick up a gallon of juice for those Fourth of July cocktails. A couple splashes of this and that, and you’ve got yourself some punch. However… what if the bar was raised for this year’s festivities? What if you just want to raise the bar yourself? If the BBQ refreshments are in your hands, add more than just a splash of juice. Toss in a couple of Woodchuck® Watermelon Cocktail Cubes! With 100% fresh fruit, this frozen garnish is an easy and refreshing way to add some zest to your firework brews. I mean, what’s the Fourth of July without some watermelon? Check out the recipe below!
Ingredients
- ½ of a Watermelon – scooped out
- 1 ½ cups of cut up Pineapple
- 1 cup of raspberries
- 1 pint of Woodchuck® Seasonal Summer Time
- Woodchuck Summer Time delivers a crisp apple cider topped off with a touch of blueberry juice. A cider crafted to be as refreshing as a summer day is long. Find Woodchuck Seasonal Summer Time near you!
Recipe
(We suggest preparing these the night before!)
Blend the watermelon, pineapple, and raspberries together. Once smooth, pour into your preferred ice cube trays, and stick in the freezer. After about four hours, or once firm, take the ice cubes out, and when ready to serve, stick four in a pint. Take a bottle of Woodchuck® Seasonal Summer Time and pour over the cocktail cubes. Give a quick stir, and enjoy as the cubes melt into the perfect holiday cocktail!
BONUS RECIPE: Woodchuck Watermelon Gumption Italian Ice!
If you don’t use all of the fruit blend, pour the remaining liquid in the emptied watermelon, then top it off with a bottle of Woodchuck® Gumption™! Stick in the freezer, and take out when at your preferred consistency. Either scoop into cups, or just grab a big spoon, and enjoy!
