The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival Kicks Off Tomorrow!

The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival is finally here again! From August 25th-28th, Woodchuck Cider is excited to be a sponsor of the inaugural Festival (MNFF, which delivers the dynamic work of first and second time filmmakers to appreciative audiences from Middlebury, all over Vermont – and beyond. So for all you appreciative audience members out there…
SCHEDULE
The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival will kick off on the evening of Thursday the 25th with the Opening Night Film at Town Hall Theater, and the After Party at the Swift House Inn. Tickets to Opening Night are sold separately and are available online at middfilmfest.org.
On Friday, the fun kicks off at 10:30am and continues throughout the day at 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and 7:15pm. Throughout the day and evening you’ll be able to see many films at Town Hall Theater, Marquis Theater, Dana Auditorium, and the Marquis Screening Room. Enjoy a bevy at the 5pm Festival Happy Hour at the Marquis and then cap off the day at the Friday Night Gathering at the Edgewater Gallery from 9-11pm.
Saturday will bring you the same great fun with the same screening times, but head to the Middlebury Inn at 9am for a coffee with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard! Awesome, right!?! End the day with a fabulous Festival Dance Party at Marble Works with music, food and beverages from 9-11:30pm.
Sunday, grab breakfast for a Filmmaker Mingle at Carol’s Hungry Mind before heading into three blocks of films – 10am, 1pm, and 4pm. Make sure not to miss the Closing ceremonies, featuring the VTeddy Awards at the Town Hall Theater!
