Woodchuck Cider & Cheddar Soup!

Happy #NationalCheeseLoversDay! End the week on a warm and gooey note with Woodchuck Cider & Cheddar Soup.
Woodchuck Cider & Cheddar Soup
- ½ bottle Woodchuck® Amber
- 1 cup grated apple
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 4 tbsp. butter
- ¼ cup flour
- 2 ½ cups milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. nutmeg
In saucepan, cook apples and onions in butter until tender. Add flour and blend until smooth. Stir in milk and Woodchuck Hard Cider. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens. Add cheese and seasonings. Stir as they melt. Garnish with a dash of nutmeg.
