Come on over for the Cider House Block Party!

A slew of things to celebrate are headed our way as we roll into summer and we couldn’t be happier about it!
The sunny season officially begins on June 21st. It shares the day with Father’s Day (at the Cider House we celebrate Hops with Pops!). Here in our neck of the woods we’re also celebrating the day with Foodaroo, a town-wide event that invites some of the state’s most talented culinary artisans to show off their skills. It’s like we’re stockpiling things to celebrate (and we’re alright with that)!
Like most folks, we can’t wait for the Fourth of July which is right around the corner. In between, or in the “Midd” you could say, we also have a special celebration in our home town of Middlebury, Vermont!
The Midd Summer Festival is happening June 27th complete with booze, blues, and BBQ! This event kicks off late afternoon so we’re inviting folks to come pre-game the big event at the Cider House with us. Does live music, savory pulled pork sandwiches, lawn games, and ice-cold cider sound like an awesome way to pre-party before the party? Yeah, we think so too! Join us for the Woodchuck Cider House Summer Block Party!
On June 27th, festivities will take place from 11-5pm. Get in the competitive spirit with Cornhole and Kan Jam outside on the lawn. We’ll have outdoor seating available, so make sure to have your favorite ‘Chuck in hand! Whether you win or lose, you’re sure to work up an appetite, so enjoy pulled pork sandwiches and more from the Hog & Harvest Food Truck.
As the day rolls on, live music will start at 1pm with Aaron Flinn bringing us the sounds of folk, indie rock and classic country. The final kicker? Well step right up for a special SURPRISE Craft Cider Firkin from our Cider Makers, John and Ben! They’ve been putting their heads together to bring some new flare to the party and you won’t want to miss out.
The Block Party will be a great way to get in the spirit for the Midd Summer Festival happening later in the day right down the road a piece from the Cidery, so mark those calendars and make a day of it!
