Ciderbration RECAP
August 29, 2014
The time has come and gone, and wow was it epic. The official Grand Opening of our Cidery, the gathering of our fans from far and wide, and an event that lit up Middlebury with enthusiasm and live music. Not to repeat our selves, but MAN was it epic.
And the stats are in…
9,813 FANS who rocked out.
157 KEGS of Woodchuck® Cider poured.
Last time we promise… EPIC! Let’s take a look at what happened.
With a line down the street, our fans started to shuffle in at 2pm.
They were first greeted by the delicious smells of our local vendors (those waffle cones were quite intoxicating), and our Cider Tent. 13 tasty styles to choose from!
You could then mark the occasion out on the Lawn Games plateau, or in our Social Media and Photo Booth tent. We have to say, that cut out Woodchuck was quite the hit… and who doesn’t like being photo bombed by the the man who created Woodchuck Cider (and made this all possible!), Greg Failing?
Then the rocking began… beginning with the talented Caroline Rose and rocker Jaime Lee Thurston, the crowd immediately took off.
Then who took the stage? Oh that’s right… Dirty Heads!
We took a break for an event wide toast with Dan Rowell, or CEO. Can you say rock star?
Finishing up with none other than the awesome jams of Dr. Dog.
Oh wait, that’s right. The perfect night cap? FIREWORKS!
We couldn’t be more thrilled with how many of our fans came to join us for such an amazing Ciderbration™. Thank you for your support over the past 23 years, and for the next 23 to come!
Til next time…
