Whether it’s a pool within your mashed potatoes, or a drizzle over your entire dish, gravy sneaks onto almost everyone’s plate in some shape or form. As for the recipes? The Woodchuck® Winter Chill Cider Gravy
The Woodchuck® Winter Chill Cider Gravy is a great recipe option, using one of our seasonals. The Winter Chill cider is aged with French and traditional oak, and is finished with a touch of vanilla. This on top of the drippings from your turkey, or a savory chicken broth creates an unbeatable combination. Intrigued? Well here’s that simple recipe to spice up that Thanksgiving feast!
The Woodchuck® Winter Chill Cider Gravy
This recipe yields 8-10 servings.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of Turkey Stock, or Chicken Broth
- 1 cup of Woodchuck® Seasonal Winter Chill
- 6 tbsp. of unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup of flour
- 1 tsp. parsley
- Dash of salt and pepper
Recipe:
Over medium-heat, combine the flour and the butter in a saucepan. Whisk this mixture until smooth.
Once the mixture is smooth, add both the Turkey stock (or Chicken Broth) and the Woodchuck® Winter Chill with continuous stirring. Add the parsley, and a dash of salt and pepper. Continue to stir and let cook for 4-5 minutes.
Find your finest gravy boat, fill with the mouth-watering gravy, and stick right on your Thanksgiving table!
